OnePlus has just announced that the top-end Pad 3 will make its way to India... in September. Only the 12GB +256GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations will be making their way to the market, but no word on pricing yet.

First off, this thing is ridiculously thin. We're talking 5.97mm thin. That's about as thick as a handful of credit cards. It's got a sleek metal body, and you can get it in "Storm Blue" or "Frosted Silver," which, let's be honest, are just fancy names for 'dark blue' and 'silver.'

The display is a whopping 13.2 inches, and it's got a 3.4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. And with 900 nits of peak brightness, it's bright enough to blind a squirrel in broad daylight.

The silicon is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is tech-speak for "this thing is wicked fast." The battery is massive: a 12,140mAh capacity. And when it finally dies, the 80W fast charging will resurrect it in about an hour and a half, which is faster than most people can make a decent cup of coffee.

The speakers? They crammed in a ridiculous eight of them—four woofers and four tweeters. The cameras are a standard tablet affair—a 13MP rear and an 8MP front. The company will also be selling a keyboard case attachment that can also work in detached mode via a Bluetooth link.
