OnePlus has just quite a banger earlier today for anyone who dreams of a large screen for streaming, but on a tight budget. The latest from the brand is the OnePlus Pad Lite, which offers a respectable 11-inch screen, a large battery with 80 hours of music playtime, and a Hi-Res Audio-certified quad-speaker system, which, let's be honest, means it'll probably sound better than your washing machine.

The OnePlus Pad Lite officially goes on sale starting August 1, 2025, at 12 PM onwards. You can find it on OnePlus's own sites, Amazon, Flipkart, and all the usual suspects.

The 11-inch full-HD 90Hz panel with 16:10 aspect ratio offers an 85.3% screen-to-body ratio, or in layman's terms, that means less bezel, more screen. Hallelujah! Other niceties include support for 10-bit color depth, while the max brightness hits 500 nits, which is a fancy way of saying it's pretty bright, even if you're trying to scroll TikTok under the harsh glare of reality.

Joining it is a quad-speaker system, which gets an assist from Hi-Res Audio-certified and OnePlus's very own "Omnibearing Sound Field" technology. Simply put, the sound adjusts itself based on how you're holding the tablet. So whether you're horizontal, vertical, or doing some weird tablet-yoga pose, your movies, music, and games will still sound natural.

The tablet, which is 7.39mm thin and weighs a mere 530 grams, flaunts a "sandblast finish" on the rear shell, which comes coated in an Aero Blue paint. Moreover, that 9,340 mAh battery isn't just for show. Aside from a long mileage worth a few days of playtime, it also supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

Running the show is MediaTek's Helio G100 processor, and booting OxygenOS 15, OnePlus says the tablet has been engineered for "long-term reliability," promising smooth performance for a whopping 36 months.

Software stuff

On the software side, for the OnePlus faithful, there's seamless cross-device connectivity. Screen Mirroring means you can project your phone onto the tablet. Clipboard Sharing and Shared Gallery are also there, as manually moving content between devices is so last decade.

And for those of us who dabble outside the OnePlus ecosystem, it plays nice with Quick Share for Android and O+ Connect for iOS/iPadOS. See? We can all be friends. OnePlus has also included features for the pint-sized humans in your life.

"Kids Mode" offers a secure environment (read: digital cage) where parents can control screen time, app access, and connectivity. Plus, eye protection is enabled by default, because even big tech cares about your little ones' eyeballs. The tablet also comes preloaded with Google Kids Space, a treasure trove of "age-appropriate apps, videos, and books."

The OnePlus Pad Lite comes in a stunning "Aero Blue" (because, fashion) and two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage (Wi-Fi only) for ₹12,999, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage (Wi-Fi + 4G LTE) for ₹14,999. These prices are effective prices, mind you, because they've already factored in some "Instant Bank Discount" and "Special launch offers."
