The iPad has had quite some journey. From a 9.7-inch screen on the original one to a 10.9-inch display on the latest one – while spawning Mini, Air, and Pro siblings in between – it has seen different shapes and forms. Now, Apple thinks the world is ready for a giant 16-inch slate with an OLED screen. What you watch on that giant screen is none of mine, Apple, or your nosy uncle's business.
Reporting from Bloomberg and The Information suggests that 2023 will be a shit year for the iPad Pro in terms of upgrades. But in 2024, Apple plans to go all out with a reimagined iPad Pro that will rock a fresh design and might even bring MagSafe support for wireless charging, just like the past three generations of iPhones.
But the most promising – and mind-bending – piece of "leaked" information is the development of a 16-inch iPad Pro. Of course, Samsung has already made one such Andre the Giant-certified tablet called the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is already huge enough to punish your wrists. Imagine having to carry the 16-inch monster, only to design kid-grade illustrations.
