Google has just confirmed that its next budget phone – the Pixel 7a – will launch in India on May 11. The phone, which looks hecka clean and borrows its looks from the Pixel 7 series flagships, will be sold via long-time partner Flipkart.
By the way, there is little that we don't already know about the upcoming phone, because Google does a shit job at containing leaks. Here's what the phone looks like in its stunning coral pink color:
And here are the other three colors – Carbon Grey, Cotton White & Arctic Blue – that will be on the table:
The good folks over at WinFuture also leaked the entire specifications sheet of the upcoming phone. Here's what resides under the Pixel 7a's hood:
- 6.1-inch full-HD OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate
- Google Tensor G2 processor
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB / 256GB internal storage
- 64-megapixel main camera + 13-megapixel ultrawide camera (64MP primary as per other leaks)
- 13-megapixel selfie camera
- 4,400 mAh battery with 20W fast charging and wireless charging support
- Android 13
Unfortunately, we haven't heard any credible murmur about exactly how much Google will rob from your wallet for the Pixel 7a. But if last year's Pixel 7a is any indication, prepare to pay somewhere along the lines of Rs. 40,000 at the very least. Per 9to5Google, the global pricing will bump up to $449 from the 6a's $399.
We'll have the full review of the phone at Athenil with a hell lotta saucy takes and some pretty cool tricks for y'all. Stay tuned!
