Elon Musk – known for deeds like selling electric cars, leading a space company, harboring a breeding kink, and turning Twitter to shit – apparently loves cats. Stealing the design for cat beds also seems to be one of his hobbies.

Musk's electric car company, Tesla, sells a ton of merch, from extremely red short shorts for men to a dog whistle that can only be paid with a meme crypto coin. Recently, Tesla also started selling a cat bed in China. The thing weighs about 15 kilograms and costs 89 Chinese Yuan, or roughly $13.

It's pretty cheap by market standards, but it appears that Tesla blatantly copied it from the cat bed sold by a company named Hulumao. "Dear Mr. Elon Musk, although we don't know each other, very thank you for promoting our product with Tesla logo on it and selling it in China," said the hurt company in an Instagram post.

I'll let this image posted by Hulumao be the judge here:

But it looks like a David vs. Goliath-esque court showdown ain't happening. "I guess there's not really much we can do," Hulumao founder Hsiao Shih-chang told a news outlet.
