"Imagine being able to more seamlessly turn one's thoughts and ideas into music; like creating a new guitar riff just by humming." That's exactly the AI magic potion YouTube is selling.
The platform already has a feature that lets you just hum a tune and it will find the song for you. "Na Na Naa Naa Naa, Na Na Naa Naa Naa." That's Pichle Saat Dinon Mein from the movie Rock On! Yep, that's more or less how it works.

There's another cool trick that will let you describe – in words – what kind of music you want to create and then pick a singer whose voice you want for it. YouTube will do that, as well. This feature is called Dream Track.
For now, it is limited to a small bunch of creators. As for the artists lending their voice for the experiment, the list includes the likes of Charlie Puth, Sia, T-Pain, Demi Lovato, Charli XCX, and none other than certified-panty-creamer John Legend.
